The entities known as the obsidian destroyers are actually enslaved titan constructs once called tol'vir. Their role was to watch over titan lore and machinery around Ulduar and Uldum. Not long after the troll empires split divided the aqir empire. The qiraji the other aqir called themselves that after ransacking Uldum titan research stations. The Qiraji called their home Ahn'Qiraj. Although the Scourge later infested Azjol-Nerub it throws tol'vir slaves in the front line. Many tol'vir may still exist deep in Uldum and deep in Azjol-Nerub. When the tol'vir were afflicted by the Curse of Flesh, as many titan created races were. Deathwing, the evil Dragon Aspect of Earth invited the tol'vir of Uldum to work for them in return they would get stone bodies back. However, the tol'vir of Orsis declined Deathwing's offer and air elemental lord Al'Akir attempted to bury the city with a sandstorm.

The Ramkahen refused too but were more prepared then the Orsis citizens. Adventurers later helped the Ramkahen take Neferset City and push the Neferset tribe back. The ramkahen now own most tol'vir settlements. Unfortunately, the Neferset still exist in numbers around the southern delta and the Lost City of Tol'vir and Hall of Origination. Others can be found at Vortex Pinnacle in the Skywall elemental plane above the sands of Uldum.
